Cornichon is a team of 6 students, studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at RMIT University. The team is collaborating on a project aiming to produce a prototype that can be taken into full scale production for a stand-alone plant self-watering system. The Cornichon team members are:

The Project Details

Overview

The project objective is to provide an affordable yet competitive product, predominantly aimed toward the young, working class professional market, which will automatically water their plants, requiring minimal human intervention.

Project Aim

Successfully assemble and operate an Indoor Automatic Plant Watering System (APWS) using Raspberry Pi 3.

Tools & Technologies

The project prototype utilises a Raspberry Pi, a relay and household items. The final product will comprise of an all in one enclosure and water reservoir.
